I was born and raised in Opelousas, Louisiana and moved to Lafayette when I began taking classes at ULL. I married my incredible husband, Eric, right after I finished college and then I taught Preschool for 5 years before becoming a stay-at-home Mom to care for our two sons. While I was very grateful to have some time off of work, I found myself getting lost in all of the adventures that motherhood entails. During that time, I started taking Barre classes at a local studio and completely fell in love with the philosophy and alignment principles in those classes. I’ve now been teaching Barre classes for nearly 4 years and truly feel like I found my calling. It brings me so much joy to help clients on their journeys to becoming the best versions of themselves.
When I’m not teaching or taking class, you can find me cheering on our boys at their various sporting events or kicking back with a glass of Pinot Noir on our patio.

Tina A. Burkhalter, is a native of Southeast Louisiana and has recently moved back home from being on the West Coast, since 2009 in Las Vegas then California. Her journey with spin came about in 2015 by one of her peers in grad school. She was hesitant as she started in the back and deplored the idea of going, but she went. She started in the last row and by the end of class she was breathless and dripping with sweat. Then one day, things changed…she not only started to enjoy spin and make great friends, but she moved up to the front row and at the end of class she was till dripping in sweat…but felt invigorated!!! Soon she started making up spin routines with songs that she heard on the radio…and her friends who were peers encouraged her to start teaching so she got AFAA certified and began teaching in the same place where she was a student. Her love for the craft is what drove her to teach!!! She loves teaching spin and you can feel in in every class that she teaches!!!
