My passion was birthed for fitness through personal hard work, dedication and physical training as a high school and collegiate athlete in both football and track. That led me to pursue a degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Business, graduating in 2003 from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. There I earned a two-time title as the Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year as well as, record holder of the 40-yard dash which still stands today!
Born from my personal successes, I decided to use my passion and platform to assist others in achieving their goals of living a healthier lifestyle.
My professional training career began at the Tom Shaw Sports Performance Center located in New Orleans Louisiana where I trained high school, collegiate and professional athletes. When a once in a lifetime opportunity arose in 2004, I became a Speed and Conditioning Strength Coach for the New Orleans Saints. During my three and a half year stint i worked along side future Hall of Fame’r Drew Brees and Heisman trophy winner Reggie Bush as well as many other professional athletes.
After the NFL, I became the Director of the Performance Institute at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida. It was there I trained world-class soccer, tennis and golf athletes from across the world! During that same time, I instructed at Wide World of Sports in Orlando, training top draft picks and future NFL stars for their NFL career.
In 2008, I was given an opportunity to come back home as a Fitness consultant, working with business professionals looking to achieve a healthier more productive lifestyle and young athletes looking to get an edge in Lafayette. I used tools from each stop and experience to create my own fitness philosophy! From this opportunity, I formed H.I.T., LLC, the FIRST, FASTEST growing and LONGEST standing high-intensity class in Acadiana. After continuing growth and to accommodate clientele,
In October 2018, I opened my own facility located at 1319 Verot School Road. This facility has enabled me to take my clients to a whole new level in their fitness endeavors.
I have two mottos:
1) Changing Lafayette one workout at a time
2) Use my passion and my platform for HIS purpose
